Welcome to Ratcliffe & Brown

We are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to leaving a lasting legacy of improved mental health and wellbeing for our community.

We do this by focusing on three areas:

• Developing the counsellors of tomorrow. We provide a unique and supportive environment for trainee counsellors to grow in a nurturing safe space. By enhancing their training experience, we ensure our community has a longer-lasting and more diverse professional mental health team.

• The resilience of our frontline workers. For a community to have good mental health resources, we have to take care of our mental health workers. Ratcliffe & Brown proactively engage with frontline staff and their families to prevent burnout, stress, and compassion fatigue.

• Building bridges within the patchwork of community resources. We partner with existing community platforms to make lasting changes. Social prescribing has become an essential part of the support network available to our community and an invaluable tool for providing free services to the more deprived areas of our community. Ratcliffe & Brown is proud to be an important provider of unique services fuelling the social prescribing model.
