Ratcliffe & Brown CIC provide essential counselling retreats twice a year for trainee and qualified counsellors. Both counsellors on placement with us and those who have never worked with us are welcome. A therapeutic retreat can help you reconnect with your core values and discover new direction and purpose. These retreats provide stress relief in a calming and immersive environment helping to prevent burnout and compassion fatigue. Our continued professional development opportunities thread throughout the experience to allow a healthy balance of learning and relaxation. The next Counselling retreat will be at the beginning of 2026. Dates are confirmed in the first weeks of each new year.

Private Practice & Business Retreats
These retreats support trainees and qualified counsellors in blending authenticity, professionalism, and trust-building into their practice to sell, market, and promote their businesses. We will help you identify your niche, understand the importance of brand identity, and help you build yours with a unique individual portrait experience. With fantastic networking opportunities, guest speakers and continued professional development experiences, your weekend in stunning Cornwall is set.

There was an excellent balance between CPD and wellbeing opportunities. The CPD was delivered professionally and incorporated varied approaches, which offered both support and challenge. It was also a super networking opportunity, and I felt the whole time from check-in to check-out was invaluable.
